It’s important to work through this chapter in order, all these sections are essential for running Momod successfully.

It details host machine requirements, project layout, installation, configuration and preparation then running the two Ansible playbooks, setup and main, which get your server set up and ready to use.

You should expect it to take 1 to 2 hours mimimum to get a functional server with applications set up. It is possible to pause at certain point before progressing so you can break up the task:

• After the setup play has run the server is secure
• After the main play has run and Forgejo is configured the server is secure.
